Automation remote access

To facilitate remote support and maintenance, our automation systems support remote access via a VPN. The system is equipped with a router/firewall which automatically establishes a connection to Calvitia’s private VPN server if an internet connection is provided. A static IP address is not required.

Remote support can be used to diagnose and rectify any problems that may occur, but also to modify and update configuration, and to monitor the system in real time.

Some customers prefer to plug in an internet connection only when support is required, whereas others may prefer to simply allow the system to connect when powered on.
